The headline now hides a three-way split.

Best for

finance teams and accountants consolidating multi-entity, multi-currency group reporting from Xero, QuickBooks or Sage without hand-built spreadsheets.

Skip it if

you run a single entity (your accounting platform's own reports cover it), or your ledgers live outside the supported integrations and you'd be importing spreadsheets anyway.

Joiin now sells three plans, Core, Pro and Max, each priced by the number of companies you consolidate. Billed annually, per month: 1 company $28 / $34 / $45, 2 companies $32 / $36 / $47, 5 companies $62 / $66 / $77, 10 companies $97 / $104 / $115, 20 companies $147 / $155 / $168, 50 companies $179 / $189 / $202 and 100 companies $280 / $297 / $325.

Billed monthly: $35 / $42 / $49 for one company, $122 / $130 / $144 for ten and $350 / $371 / $406 for a hundred. Above 100 companies you pay the 100-company price plus, for each extra company, $3 / $4 / $5 a month on monthly billing or $28 / $35 / $49 a year on annual billing. Users, reports and clients are unlimited on every plan.

Core reports in one currency; Pro adds multi-currency, forecasting, the Excel Add-In, Stripe and non-financial data and AI agents; Max adds report-pack and dashboard templates, custom FX rates, API and Zapier access and the MCP connector. The 14-day trial runs on Max and needs no card. The toggle labels annual billing '2 months free'; at most steps the saving works out at about 20%, but at one company on Max it is $540 a year against $588, about one month.

The served HTML and joiin.co/pricing.md still carried the old single table ($23 a month for one company, billed annually) on 6 October 2026; the calculator a visitor sees shows the three plans.

Correction after re-checking: (re-verified 2026-10-06) Between our 17 August reading and 6 October 2026 Joiin replaced its single all-features plan with Core, Pro and Max. For one company on annual billing the entry price rose from $23 to $28 a month (Core), and Max, the plan that still includes everything, costs $45. At ten companies the old $92 compares with $97 on Core and $115 on Max; at a hundred, $252 compares with $280 and $325. The overage above 100 companies changed from a flat $2.80 per company to $3, $4 or $5 a month depending on the plan. Joiin's Plan & Billing help article (modified 7 September 2026) says customers who signed up before the change keep one plan with every feature, priced only by company count.

The catch

One company starts at $28 a month on annual billing for Core, but Core reports in a single currency; multi-currency and forecasting start on Pro ($34), and Max, the all-features plan the trial runs on, is $45. A group of 10-20 entities lands at $97-168 a month depending on plan. And it consolidates only what its integrations reach (Xero, QuickBooks, Intuit Enterprise Suite, Sage, MYOB, FreeAgent, Puzzle, Pennylane, Zoho Books and Fortnox), so anything outside that list arrives as a spreadsheet import you repeat every month.

What buyers report about Joiin

Hands-on: not tested by usReported by buyers: G2, GetApp, Software Advice and Tekpon, read August 2026

Themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in August 2026. We have not run Joiin ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.

What they praise
  • • Multi-entity consolidation out of Xero, QuickBooks and Sage that takes minutes instead of a spreadsheet weekend — that is the whole reason reviewers use it, and they say it delivers.
  • • Every plan includes all features and unlimited users; you pay for entities, not seats. Priced by how many entities you consolidate, from a couple up to unlimited.
  • • Multi-currency and inter-company eliminations are in the base product.
What they complain about
  • • Report presentation and layout options are the one recurring request — the numbers are right, the polish is not.
  • • Beyond that, we found no pattern of complaints worth flagging. That is unusual, and in a category this fiddly it counts in its favour.

When the paid plan is worth it

Joiin now sells three plans, and the step that matters is currency rather than company count. Core, $28 a month for one company on annual billing, consolidates in one reporting currency only. Pro, $34, adds multi-currency, forecasting, the Excel Add-In and AI agents, so for a group with a subsidiary abroad it is the real entry price. Max, $45, adds custom FX rates, report-pack templates, API and Zapier access and the MCP connector.

The gap narrows as the group grows: at ten companies the three cost $97, $104 and $115 a month, at a hundred $280, $297 and $325. Upgrading does not buy seats or reports, which are unlimited on every plan, and it does not widen reach: Joiin consolidates what its ten listed integrations touch, and anything else arrives as a spreadsheet import you repeat each month. Plan the end of the trial as well.

It runs on Max, and when it ends you choose a plan in the app; your data, connections and reports stay, but features above the plan you pick, such as forecasting or custom FX rates, stop being available. Plan changes take effect on your next billing date, per the pricing FAQ read 6 October 2026.

Questions we checked

Facts about Joiin that would change a buying decision, and where we stand on each. An unanswered question does not mean the feature is missing; it means we have not confirmed it yet.

  • How long does Joiin keep your data after a paid subscription is cancelled? Sources disagree
Applies to: paid plans, after the end of the last billing cycle.
Why it matters: decides whether you must export before the cycle ends or have a year to move reports and consolidations elsewhere.
Answer: The Plan & Billing help article (modified 7 September 2026) says the data is deleted when the subscription ends at the end of the billing cycle; the Terms of Use (modified 5 May 2026, section 9) say paid-account data is retained for up to 12 months after cancellation and then permanently deleted.

How to actually use Joiin

The shortest path to value starts on the Companies page: click Add Company and choose Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, Pennylane, Puzzle, FreeAgent, Zoho Books, Fortnox or MYOB, then authorise the connection and select which organisations to pull in. Joiin's help centre says you can connect as many companies as you wish simultaneously, within the limits of your subscription. If a live ledger is not ready, the Add demo company option loads sample data so the reports can be explored first.

A couple of things trip people up. Joiin pulls the last 3 and next 2 fiscal years by default, so anyone expecting a decade of comparatives will need a different approach. And data refreshes automatically every 24 hours, so a ledger edit made this morning will not show until the next sync or a manual refresh; accounts with 20 companies or more get a Refresh All button. The step most often skipped is organising entities into Groups, which is what unlocks consolidated rather than single-entity reporting.

Budget the 14 day trial around that setup. Budgets are on every plan; forecasting is on Pro and Max only since the plan split (it is in the trial, which runs on Max). Joiin pulls budget data from the connected ledgers and builds three-way forecasts across the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, for a single company or for the consolidated group, then puts budgets, forecasts and actuals side by side.

The natural comparison is Fathom — Fathom leans into analysis and presentation-grade reporting; Joiin is the leaner consolidation specialist with per-entity pricing and unlimited users.

Frequently asked questions

How is Joiin priced?

By plan and by the number of companies you consolidate, not by users. Read on 6 October 2026, billed annually: one company costs $28 a month on Core, $34 on Pro and $45 on Max; ten companies $97, $104 and $115; a hundred $280, $297 and $325. Monthly billing costs about 20% more at most steps. Users, reports and clients are unlimited on every plan.

What happens above a hundred companies?

You pay the 100-company price plus a fee for each additional company: $3, $4 or $5 a month on Core, Pro and Max with monthly billing, or $28, $35 or $49 a year per company with annual billing (read in Joiin's own pricing script, 6 October 2026). In August it was a flat $2.80 per company on a $336 monthly base.

Is the trial genuinely free?

Fourteen days, no credit card, on Max, the most complete plan. When it ends you choose Core, Pro or Max in the app; your data, connections and reports stay, but features above the plan you pick stop being available. Joiin's Terms of Use (section 5.2) add that trial accounts are intended for single-user access and cannot be shared. Read 6 October 2026.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You can cancel at any time from Plan & Billing; you are not charged again and keep access until the end of the billing cycle. After that Joiin's own documents disagree. The help article Plan & Billing (modified 7 September 2026) says the subscription is then cancelled and your data deleted. The Terms of Use (modified 5 May 2026) say a paid account's data is kept for up to 12 months after cancellation and then permanently deleted, and that exporting what you need, to Excel or PDF, is your job. Export before the billing cycle ends to be safe. Read 6 October 2026.

Can I switch plans mid-term?

Yes, between Core, Pro and Max at any time from your account settings. Joiin's pricing FAQ says a change takes effect on your next billing date, and the Plan & Billing article says the next instalment carries a pro-rated adjustment. Customers who joined before the Core, Pro and Max split see one older plan with every feature, priced only by company count. Read 6 October 2026.
