All prices below are in pounds and exclude VAT: the site's Include VAT switch is off by default, so UK buyers add 20%. Shared cPanel hosting comes in six plans: Amethyst £7 a month (1 site, 10GB NVMe storage, 2GB RAM, 1 CPU, daily backups), Ruby £11 (5 sites, 25GB, free domain), Emerald £19 (unlimited sites and NVMe storage, 4-hourly backups, PCI DSS scan compliance), then Sapphire £37, Diamond £67 and Tanzanite £97, each adding CPU and RAM.
Annual billing is ten months' price (Amethyst £70 a year, Emerald £190) and two-year billing is eighteen months' price (Amethyst £126, Emerald £342); the page shows no introductory rate. Managed WordPress is £270 for two years on Personal (1 site, 20,000 visits, 5GB), £630 on Business and £900 on Agency, each with a 30-day free trial. A VPS starts at £10 a month (£12 including VAT) for 1 core, 1GB RAM and 25GB, plus £5 per extra core, £3 per extra GB of RAM and £0.20 per extra GB of disk; a cPanel licence is from £18 a month and management from £80 a month.
Hosting and VPS carry a 60-day money-back guarantee, less any domain costs. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

Shown before VAT, Amethyst is £8.40 a month for a UK buyer and holds one site on 10GB, while budget hosts lead with multi-year introductory rates far below that (which then renew higher). 'Unlimited' from Emerald up is bounded by a 2,500,000-inode limit and 75 to 150 processes, round-the-clock phone support starts only at Sapphire (£37), changing your billing cycle takes a support ticket, and VPS is billed monthly only.
Cancelling immediately schedules your sites and email for deletion within hours. We have not run Krystal ourselves; this dossier is read from Krystal's own pages and help centre, and we found no independent test we could weigh.
UK web hosting company, a certified B Corp running on renewable energy, selling cPanel shared, business and reseller hosting, managed WordPress, configurable VPS and public cloud, with UK-based support by ticket, live chat and phone.

The shared ladder splits on sites first and support second. Amethyst at £7 a month (excluding VAT) hosts one site on 10GB with no free domain. Ruby at £11 takes five sites and 25GB and adds a free domain. Emerald at £19 is where 'unlimited' starts: unlimited sites, NVMe storage and mailboxes, backups every four hours instead of daily, PCI DSS scan compliance and what Krystal calls super low contention and resource boost.
Read the business comparison table before trusting the word, though: Emerald, Sapphire and Diamond each carry a limit of 2,500,000 inodes and a process cap of 75, 100 and 150, so unlimited storage is bounded by file count. The step from Emerald to Sapphire (£37) is the one that buys support hours: Emerald's phone line runs weekdays 9:00-20:00, and 24/7 emergency phone support starts at Sapphire. Upgrades inside shared hosting are instant without downtime, according to the help centre; moving from shared to business or reseller means a technician moves your account to another server at an agreed time.
What paying more does not change is VAT: every shared price on the page is shown before 20% VAT, so Amethyst is £8.40 a month for a UK buyer. And a longer term only changes the discount, not the price per month: annual is ten months' price and two years is eighteen, with no teaser rate to expire.
Order, then wait for one email. The help centre says new shared, business and reseller accounts are created automatically within a few minutes and the welcome email with your cPanel login should arrive within 30 minutes; if it does not, the usual causes are a domain already on another package, an order held for manual review, or a payment still clearing. Pay by card if you want to start today: bank transfers take one to two working days and the account is not activated until the money arrives.
Choose the billing cycle at checkout, because changing it later means a support ticket, and VPS is billed monthly only. If you are leaving a large host, look at Switch Credits before you order: Krystal converts the pro-rated value of unused time at providers with more than 100,000 clients, a list that includes GoDaddy, Hostinger, SiteGround, IONOS, Bluehost and Namecheap, into credit with Krystal. Migration itself is offered from cPanel, Plesk or custom systems, and Krystal's page describes it as something its team works on with you rather than a self-serve tool.
Two things to remember later: invoices are generated seven days ahead on monthly billing and a month ahead on annual or two-year billing, and a hosting service is suspended 14 days after a failed payment. Cancelling hosting does not cancel a domain registered with Krystal, and choosing immediate cancellation schedules your websites and email for deletion within a few hours, so download everything first.

The natural comparison is Hostinger — Hostinger is in our dossiers too and competes on the first invoice: its Premium plan leads with a 48-month prepaid rate that renews several times higher. Krystal lists one price per billing period in pounds, before VAT, with no introductory discount. Compare the two over the full term you will actually keep, at renewal prices, and add VAT to Krystal's figures if you buy in the UK..
Without, by default. The pricing pages carry an Include VAT switch that is off when the page loads, so the shared prices of £7, £11 and £19 a month are before 20% UK VAT; Amethyst works out at £8.40 a month for a UK buyer. The VPS configurator shows both: £10 a month, or £12 including VAT. Read on 5 October 2026.
The page gives no reason to expect one. Read on 5 October 2026, annual billing is ten months' price (Amethyst £70 a year) and two-year billing is eighteen months' price (£126), and no introductory rate or separate renewal price is shown. The help centre says invoices for annual and two-year plans are generated a month before the due date, so you can check the renewal amount in the client area before it is charged.
Not quite. The business comparison table lists unlimited NVMe storage on Emerald, Sapphire and Diamond, but also an inode limit of 2,500,000 on each and a process cap of 75, 100 and 150. A site with millions of small files, or many busy sites on one plan, meets those limits before it runs out of disk. Support differs too: Emerald has phone support on weekdays 9:00-20:00, and 24/7 emergency phone support starts at Sapphire.
Judge it on evidence rather than adjectives. Look for a published security page, single sign-on and role controls on the plan you would actually buy (they are often gated to higher tiers), a status page with real incident history, and a clear answer on where your data is stored. If the tool will hold anything sensitive, those four answers matter more than any feature comparison.
