Signable Review (2026)UK E-Signatures, Priced per Envelope

By · Researched and written with an AI assistant · who does what

Business and Enterprise prices are only 'from' figures and go through sales, and the overage fee for envelopes beyond your allowance is not published.

Best for

UK and European small and mid-sized businesses that send contracts, agreements and forms for signature and want to pay by the document rather than by the user, with UK-hosted data.

Skip it if

you need the API, bulk sending or Qualified Electronic Signatures on a small budget, since those start on Business; or you want a full contract lifecycle tool with negotiation and contract management rather than signing.

Pricing (2026)

✓ Pricing re-verified 20 Oct 2026

Signable prices by the envelope, not by the user: every plan has unlimited users and unlimited templates. An envelope is one package of one or more documents sent together for signing. Pay As You Go starts from £2.60 an envelope, bought upfront in bundles. Essentials is £40 a month billed annually and includes 300 envelopes a year, all available at the start of the plan, and adds your own branding.

Business is from £100 a month billed annually, from 1,200 envelopes, and adds API access, Teams, bulk send, concierge onboarding, IP allowlisting and Qualified Electronic Signatures; it goes through 'Talk to Sales'. Enterprise is from £250 a month billed annually, from 5,000 envelopes, and adds Single Sign-On, an account manager, free unlimited training, template and branding set-up and premium support. On the EU page Essentials is €560 a year and Pay As You Go starts from €3.03.

Unused envelopes on a paid plan do not roll over to the next billing period. Go past your allowance without buying another bundle and you pay an overage fee per extra envelope; the page does not publish that fee, and extra bundles are only sold on Business and Enterprise. The terms say prices exclude VAT and other taxes. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

Category context: Operations & Workflow. Across the 53 tools in this category that we researched with a public US-dollar price, the median entry price is $29 a month (lowest paid plan as listed, per seat where the vendor prices per seat). Compare pricing conditions in the Software Cost Atlas →

The honest knock

Unused envelopes on a paid plan are lost at the end of the billing period. The API, bulk send and Qualified Electronic Signatures all start on Business, from £100 a month, not on Essentials.

What Signable does

UK-based electronic signature software for sending, signing and tracking documents, priced by the envelope with unlimited users and templates, UK-hosted data and an API on higher plans.

Count envelopes, not people

Because no plan charges per user, the plan question is only about volume and a few features. Pay As You Go suits a business that sends a handful of documents a year. Essentials, at £40 a month billed annually, gives 300 envelopes a year upfront, which you can spend in busy months and save in quiet ones, and adds branding. If you send fewer than roughly 15 envelopes a month, check whether a Pay As You Go bundle comes out cheaper; the bundle prices are shown on the plans page.

Business, from £100 a month, is where the API, Teams, bulk send and Qualified Electronic Signatures arrive, so a company that wants to send from its own software or sign under the QES standard starts there. Enterprise adds SSO and an account manager. Two terms matter whichever paid plan you pick: unused envelopes do not carry over, and going past the allowance costs an overage fee per envelope that the page does not state.

How to actually use Signable

Start by counting the documents you send for signature in a normal year, because the envelope allowance is the whole pricing model. Then send a first envelope: Signable's help guide has you name the envelope, upload the documents by dragging them in or clicking the cloud icon, add each signing party with a full name and a working email address, select each signer and place the fields they need, preview the document and finish with 'Summary & Send'.

Keep the files under 5 MB each and 20 MB in total. Your signers do not need a Signable account. If you start on a trial, note that the terms move you to Pay As You Go automatically when it ends if you have not chosen a paid plan. On a paid plan, the terms say renewal charges are not refunded if you did not downgrade to Pay As You Go before the billing period ended, so put the renewal date in your calendar.

Best for
sales and legal teams with real contract volume who want the full lifecycle — creating, negotiating, e-signing and archiving interactive contracts — in one platform with CRM integrations

Both names above are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. Neither changes what this table says.

The natural comparison is Oneflow — Oneflow is in our dossiers too, but it sells a different thing: a full contract platform for creating, negotiating, e-signing and archiving contracts, priced per user at €50 a month billed annually with a five-user minimum when we read it on 5 October 2026. Signable charges by the envelope with unlimited users, from £40 a month billed annually for 300 envelopes a year. If you only need documents signed, Signable is the lighter and cheaper fit; if contracts are negotiated and managed in the tool, look at Oneflow..
