This is priced for the company rather than the seat, with unlimited projects on every tier, so the only thing the ladder buys is headcount -- and the cost per person falls sharply as you climb. Billed annually: Basic $49 a month for 1 user, Standard $105 for 3, Plus $166 for 8, Pro $221 for 15, Unlimited $332. Per user at each ceiling that is $49, $35, $20.75 and $14.73.
The expensive step is the first one. Going from one person to two means leaving Basic entirely, because there is nothing in between: $105 against $49, so your second user costs $56 a month on their own. From there it improves steadily, and a firm of eight pays less per head than a firm of three. Billing frequency matters more here than at most vendors. Monthly billing costs materially more for the same plan -- Standard $139 a month against $105, which is 32% more -- and Basic is offered on annual billing only.
Monthly also thins the safety net: monthly plans are charged at sign-up with no free trial, and the refund policy summary gives the 30-day money-back guarantee to monthly Pro and Unlimited only. Register for implementation after signing up rather than before, since the vendor pairs you with a Customer Success Manager and free one-on-one training sessions of roughly 40 minutes each, with the number of sessions set by your plan and reset annually.
Book the calls early, because the 100-day money-back guarantee depends on them. Fewer than the banner suggests. Contractor Foreman's Refund & Cancellation Policy (contractorforeman.com/refund-policy/, read 11 October 2026) gives the 100-day guarantee to annual Plus, Pro and Unlimited only, and a 30-day guarantee to monthly Pro and Unlimited; its section 4 says monthly Basic, Standard and Plus get neither a trial nor a guarantee, although the monthly eligibility checklist further down names Plus. Annual Basic and Standard get the 30-day trial but no guarantee. Qualifying takes a 1:1 demo or kickoff call before or within 7 days of sign-up, a live 1:1 training call, a set of first records and at least 10 active days in the 30 days before the request. The policy applies to trials created after 19 February 2026.
Who can cancel, and what happens to unused time?
Only the account's Main Admin, through the cancellation button under Settings > Subscription Details; the policy (read 11 October 2026) says cancellations are not accepted by chat, email or phone, and that without a cancellation confirmation email the account has not been cancelled. Once an account is cancelled, no refund is issued for remaining time. Downgrading works differently: the pricing FAQ says the difference stays on file as a non-refundable credit for the next renewal, and the policy caps a refund on a downgrade in the first 30 days after sign-up or renewal at 50% of the original payment, not more than $500.
