Every licence is a 12-month commitment, and automated electricity and gas data is billed extra per meter per year.
UK small and mid-sized businesses that need a first carbon footprint, Scope 1-3 reporting or a carbon reduction plan for customers and tenders, without hiring a consultant.
you want to try the software before committing for a year, you need multi-country group reporting, or you already work with a sustainability consultancy that supplies its own tools.

✓ Pricing re-verified 9 Oct 2026
Every licence has a 12-month commitment, with an option to pay monthly. Basic is £468 a year (£39.00 a month) for 1 user and 1 operational site. Professional is £599 a year (£49.92 a month) for 3 users and 3 sites. Premium is £729 a year (£60.75 a month) for 5 users and 5 sites. Platinum is £1,199 a year (£99.92 a month) for 10 users and 10 sites.
On every plan an additional user costs £60 a year and an additional site £80 a year, and consultancy support is £75 an hour. Automated meter data is an add-on priced per meter per year and gets cheaper on bigger plans: electricity £36, £33, £30 and £24, gas £15.60, £14.40, £13.20 and £12 (Basic to Platinum). The table lists Scope 1 and 2, all 15 Scope 3 categories, a mobile data-collection app, a carbon reduction plan, standard and advanced reports, SECR reporting, an AI data check, bill uploads and Excel/CSV bulk uploads, but the plain-text render does not show which of these each plan includes.
The toggle says paying annually saves up to 20%, yet the page shows no higher monthly price. No free trial or free plan is mentioned. A separate /pricing page on the same site shows placeholder dollar plans ($9, $19, $49 with 'API access') and lorem-ipsum text; it is a template leftover, not the real price list. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.
Category context: Operations & Workflow. Across the 51 tools in this category that we researched with a public US-dollar price, the median entry price is $25 a month (lowest paid plan as listed, per seat where the vendor prices per seat). Compare pricing conditions in the Software Cost Atlas →

The public table does not show in text which plan includes advanced or SECR reports. A separate /pricing page on the site still shows placeholder dollar plans and lorem-ipsum text, so use the table on the homepage. No free trial is mentioned. We have not used CO2 Impact ourselves.
UK carbon reporting software for small and mid-sized businesses: emissions from bills and uploads across Scope 1, 2 and 3, a carbon reduction plan, SECR reports and optional automated meter data.

The four plans differ mainly in how many users and operational sites they cover: 1, 3, 5 or 10 of each. A single-site business stays on Basic at £468 a year plus VAT; a company with four sites has to choose between Premium at £729 and Professional at £599 plus one extra site at £80, which comes to £679. The cost that grows with you is the automated meter data.
Electricity is £24 to £36 per meter per year and gas £12 to £15.60, so a business with many meters should count them before choosing a plan; uploading bills by hand avoids that cost. Because every licence runs for 12 months, paying monthly spreads the cost but does not let you leave early.
Count your users, operational sites and energy meters first; those three numbers set the price. Ask CO2 Impact which reports (standard, advanced, SECR) your plan includes, because the public table does not show it in text. Use bill uploads or Excel/CSV imports for the first year's data before paying for automated meter feeds.
Distilled from CO2 Impact's pricing table on its homepage, read in a headless browser on 2026-10-09 (both payment toggles, plan limits, add-ons). CO2 Impact is an Awin partner of ours. We have not used CO2 Impact ourselves.
The natural comparison is a carbon consultancy — a consultancy delivers the footprint and reduction plan for you at day rates; CO2 Impact is software you fill yourself from bills and uploads, at a fixed yearly price per user and site, with consultancy at £75 an hour if you need help.
Read on 9 October 2026: Basic £468 a year (£39 a month) for 1 user and 1 site, Professional £599, Premium £729 and Platinum £1,199 a year, all plus VAT and with a 12-month commitment.
Yes, but the licence still runs for 12 months; monthly payment spreads the cost and does not shorten the commitment.
Additional users (£60 a year), additional sites (£80 a year), consultancy (£75 an hour) and automated electricity and gas meter data, priced per meter per year.
Usually it sits on top rather than replacing everything. Tools in this class tend to become the layer where work is tracked and handed off, while your existing systems stay the source of truth for their own data. Before you buy, map which tools it would replace outright and which it would merely sync with. If the answer is that it syncs with all of them, you are adding a layer rather than removing one.
